Hamburg

Today I returned home from my trip to Hamburg, where I met some friends. I actually managed to visit some nice places in quite a short time (13 hours). Sadly, the weather wasn't too good, since it's been raining the whole day, but I've taken some amazing pics tho.

In the middle of St.Pauli was a place with several tents, where artists got the chance to perform. Two of them were making great soap bubbles, as you can see in the picture, others were reading out or making music. Even though the weather was so bad, there were quite a few people, who spent some time there. 

We also went to the old Elb tunnel, which is no longer in use, but still is nice to go through. One person told us that you can also hire the tunnel. Would be a great location for a little party huh? :D

After we finished the "sightseeing", we went to the Kiez to several night clubs. I  have to admit that the atmosphere was so stunning. You really know how to party haha.

All in all I had such a great time and can't wait to go there again. But since it's not that far away from my hometown, this really shouldn't be a big deal :) 

Early Monday Session

Today I decided to take some of my unfinished songs and create new ideas to improve them. Sometimes it's really hard, when you're persuaded that your song can't get any better and you like the version you wrote, but after some weeks you start to be unhappy with it and rewrite it. Still I think that this is a fairly crucial process, since the more time you spend on your songs, the better they become. Have a nice week! x

Heartbeat Union

During my first 2 months in London, I was quite busy with getting used to the city and with the tasks in my new family, where I worked as an Au pair. After this, I felt like doing music again. Not alone, as I always do, but either in a band or a duo. So I met this great guitarist, with who I found the Acoustic duo "heartbeat union". We had several gigs in pubs around London, which was amazing and I will never forget these ten months. "Some people swear there is no beauty left in the world, no magic." I think there is. You just have to follow your heart and do what you love and the magic will surround you all by itself.

These 10 months in England were the best time of my life. I've been working as an Au pair in London, which

was nice. And since I also had a lot of free time, I did not only get the chance to visit cities around England, but also to go to Ireland. If you toy with the idea of going there, but need to know some good places to visit, then just leave me a comment :) x

Working on a new song

I've been quite busy with writing a new song the last weeks. I finished it about one week ago and then started to record it. Since I wanted to collaborate with a dj, so that he can put beats on my song, I'm now really excited how it's going to sound then.

I'm just a typical german girl, who loves to sing. Since I'm 16, I'm focused on writing my own songs and during my gap year in London I also got the chance to perform them in several pubs, which was a significant experience in my life. Besides, I enjoy taking my camera with me wherever I go.
